Biography
Natalia G. Toreeva is an award-winning artist whose works are displayed in museums in Chicago, Illinois, and St. Petersburg, Russia. Her books are part of the collection of the State Museum “Tsarskoselskaya Collection” in St. Petersburg, Washington Museum of Russian Poetry and Music and local public libraries in Illinois. She earned a master’s in art and design in St. Petersburg, Russia, and a master’s in computer science from DePaul University, Chicago. Toreeva has illustrated novels, poetry collections, and literary journals and has authored six children’s books. She is a member of the Artists Trade Union of Russia (since 2010), the DuPage Writers Group (since 2008), SCBWI (2019–2023), and Arts DuPage Group (since 2019). In 2023, she participated in the International Exhibition of Arts, where 22 countries were represented, winning the Silver Medal for her three artworks in the graphics category. A retired engineer and system analyst, she resides in Carol Stream, Illinois.
