Aims to recreate a single empire.<\/p>\n<p>DEMETRIUS \u2013 Son of Antigonus. Married to Deidameia, Pyrrhus\u2019s sister. Declared as heir and co-king by Antigonus.<\/p>\n<p>CASSANDER \u2013 Son of Antipater, Alexander\u2019s regent in Macedonia. Hated for executing Olympias, Alexander\u2019s mother, together with Roxanne and Alexander IV (Alexander the Great\u2019s wife and son). King of Macedonia.<\/p>\n<p>LYSIMACHUS \u2013 One of Alexander\u2019s generals. King of Thrace.<\/p>\n<p>PTOLEMY \u2013 One of Alexander\u2019s generals. Pharaoh of Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>BERENICE \u2013 Wife of Ptolemy. Empress of Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>ANTIGONE \u2013 Daughter of Berenice. Stepdaughter of Ptolemy.<\/p>\n<p>SELEUCUS \u2013 One of Alexander\u2019s generals. King of Asia (Syria, Mesopotamia, and the eastern territories of Alexander\u2019s empire).<\/p>\n<p>MENESTHEUS \u2013 Scholar and mercenary captain.<\/p>\n<p>PANTAUCHUS \u2013 General of Demetrius.<\/p>\n<p>CINEAS \u2013 Athenian politician.<\/p>\n<p>NEOPTOLEMUS \u2013 Pyrrhus\u2019s cousin, who has seized the throne of Epirus from Pyrrhus.<\/p>\n<p>DEIDAMEIA \u2013 Pyrrhus\u2019s sister, married to Demetrius.<\/p>\n<p>All of these characters are historical figures, with the exception of Menestheus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Pyrrhic Victory: Volume I, The Shaping of Destiny.
