About the Books and the Author

Stories of Stephanie and Friends

Young children often find it difficult to cope with change whether it’s due to moving to a new home, the birth of a sibling or going to school for the first time. These new experiences can cause anxiety at first, but they also help children grow emotionally and teach them to build friendships.

In Stories of Stephanie and Friends, young Stephanie and her family move to a new neighborhood and she is anxious that she won’t make new friends. But when two kids on her street befriend her, Stephanie and her new friends not only introduce each other to new experiences, but learn that sharing the experiences creates a bond through which strong friendships can be built.

More Stories of Stephanie and Friends

This delightful new children’s book More Stories of Stephanie and Friends, the second book of the Stories of Stephanie series, continues to present “firsts” in the life of young Stephanie. These firsts include her first airplane ride, first snow day off from school, learning to read, first time ice skating, and the most important first of all – learning to live with her new baby brother!

Join Stephanie and her friends as they experience the many first-time adventures that take place in a child’s life, and as her friends support her while she works through the anxieties that often accompany new experiences.

Still More Stories of Stephanie and Friends

In this third volume of the series, Still More Stories of Stephanie and Friends, Stephanie and her friends continue to experience the normal life events that sometimes generate anxiety and uncertainty among young children – events such as a blackout throughout town, her mother beginning a job outside the house, and even her father falling ill.

With the support of family and friends, Stephanie learns to cope with such events and to overcome the normal anxiety of childhood.

Join Stephanie and her friends in this third book of this enlightening children’s series.
