SBPRA Presale Publishing FAQ

Q: What is the SBPRA Presale Publishing Option?

A: For motivated authors, SBPRA offers an innovative fast track publishing program where authors assist with pre-selling 100 books. This jump starts your sales once your book is released to Marketing.

If this is something that interests you please let our Acquisitions and Contracts team know when you discuss your contract with them. If you are a current author with us, or if you are an author with a series of books, this may be an ideal way to boost sales for your current title and future books.

A: The primary benefit is SBPRA Web Team will create a unique pre-sale webpage where the book can be purchased prior to the book’s release to the general market.

A:  SBPRA PreSale Publishing authors follow the “Typical Production Process” as noted on the Client Care Page. The exception to this process is the pre-sale webpage is created during the Pre-Production Manuscript Review AND your book requires 100 pre-sales BEFORE moving from the Pre-Production phase to the Production phase.

Q: My pre-sale webpage has been created, but I want to make a change. Who do I contact?

A: Please send a query to the SBPRA Web Team directly. You should have received their contact information when you approved the pre-sale webpage. If you can not find that information please send a message through the Client Care Contact | Author Support form.

Q: I want to add a front cover image to my pre-sale webpage, who do I contact?

A: The front cover design is created during the Production phase. Adding a cover image to your pre-sale webpage, prior to this may involve an additional fee.

Q: My book is in Production, but I do not have a SBPRA PreSale Publishing contract, can I receive a pre-sale page?

A: Presale webpages are not created for authors who have a standard Joint Venture contract under the Eloquent Book, Strategic Book Publishing, or SBPRA imprint.
