Nina in the Forest of Faces by Nanny Nooks

About the Book

Join 5-year-old Nina and her friends as they enjoy an adventure-filled weekend at Nina’s holiday home on a Barrier Island off New Zealand. The exciting children’s book Nina in the Forest of Faces takes you along on a scary night when Nina tries to use magic to stop a spell.
Nina is summoned to the Forest of Faces by Mr. Wee-E, a mouse. Legend has it that many moons ago this forest was bewitched by a mean old forest keeper, Mr. ToadNose, and that those who enter the forest may never come out! Nina is put in a trance by Mr. Wee-E, who was the forest keeper’s best friend before he turned mean after his wife’s death. Nina is the forest’s last chance to break the spell it has been put under, where nothing in it moves and all the faces are still.

After a long search, she encounters Mr. Toad Nose. Now it’s time to work her own magic to see if she can break the spell!
