About the Author

Joe Lunkas now lives in Mesick, Michigan. He worked for more than 40 years at General Motors Corporation as a problem solver and senior vehicle development engineer at GM’s Milford Proving Ground. As an accomplished and nationally recognized Master Deer Hunter throughout the 1980s, the author has had many of his freelance outdoor-related articles published. He is working on his next book, Fifty Years of Strange but True Encounters of a Michigan Outdoorsman.
