About the Book

In the book, Crescent Moon, Savon, a 17 year old boy, finds himself tormented by his young, judgmental peers and seeks the tree grove behind his home as a place of refuge. His mother’s way of consoling him: taking him to a mysterious place in the middle of nowhere where he finds a grandmother that he never knew he had and a young lady who seems to know more about his past than he does. Savon is forced to question life itself and made to find answers with his only guide being instinct and the light of the waning moon.

About the Author

Frederick Reese, author of Crescent Moon, is a strong willed young man who currently attends Greenbrier High School in Evans, Georgia. He was born in Tampa, Florida. He is an 18 year old young man who will be attending a private college in July of 2012 to pursue his Bachelors in Audio Production. As an army brat of a retired mother and a father of active duty he has a strong tolerance for all races, religions, and ideals. His own personal motto is, “There is more to life than an open door.”
