How Leaders Lead: Exploring The Dynamics of Christian Leadership By Benny Woods

About the Book

There are many definitions of leadership. Volumes have been written on this topic. In an effort to guide and encourage church leaders, twelve pastors of large Southern Baptist Churches were interviewed to learn their concepts of leadership and to examine their leadership style. These conversations, recorded in the pages of this book, give great insight regarding the successful ministries of these pastors. Each was asked to define leadership and to describer his leadership role. They discussed personal strengths and weaknesses, their call to ministry, and their personal motivation. Many questions dealt with ministry staff: communication, accessibility, discipline, accountability, team motivation, and staff freedom.
