Dan Thomas and Sophia Ferguson attend the same high school, but they live in different worlds. Fifteen-year-old Sophia comes from a conservative, two-parent Christian home, while eighteen-year-old Dan lives with his dad, who is divorced and a new believer.
Trouble arises when Dan becomes attracted to Sophia. Little by little, she compromises her standards as Dan, a self-absorbed senior jock, convinces her that testing boundaries is an excitement Sophia doesn’t want to miss.
In a twist of fate, just as Sophia is on the verge of lying to her parents concerning a rendezvous with Dan, her brother Matt is in a car accident. This precipitates yet another round of questions and uncertainty for the young couple.
Matt tries to be the catalyst in bringing Sophia back to her original values, and he also tries to reach out to Dan. Will these two young people make A Fine Choice?
