About the Author

Dr. Janice Emanuel-Bunn was born in a small village called Mocha-Arcadia in Guyana, South America. She is a professor at the University of Phoenix and the president of a nonprofit organization, APC Community Services, and Bunn’s Consulting Services. Inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama and the work she is doing to reduce childhood obesity, Dr. Bunn feels a strong commitment to children’s health. She is currently working on her next book, Eat for Health 7 Steps to a Plant-Based Diet.
