Christina Lee wishes she had a book like this before her family had to cope with her son’s autism 20 years ago. “This book also gives tips on dealing with schools and others that I wish I would have known in the beginning. It ends with our son’s successful high school graduation and gives a view in his own words of what autism means to him.”
A Mom’s Wish: Finding the Path Through the Autism Maze begins with the birth of the family’s children and explains the first signs and symptoms of autism. It describes the various doctors, school encounters and lessons learned over the years. At the end of the book there are lists of websites, books and Internet resources designed to help others with an autistic child.

About the Author
Frustrated by a lack of information on autism, Christina Lee of Maryland credits her husband and her son for motivating her to write this book. She is a working mom and has already written her next book, a murder mystery. The author will be donating a portion of her royalties to autism research.
